Reed Acra’s AW15/16 collection looked like it had come straight out of an Elizabethan fairytale. Puffy sleeves, high necklaces and lots of ruffles gave off super sophisticated vibes, whilst the sheer lace and feathers gave a fun, younger feel to it; all while still looking elegantly beautiful. Classic royal hues of deep reddy purples, murky green blacks and blue as well as creams, golds and greys. The tulle dresses were sprinkled with pretty gold beads, embellishments and embroidery, all pair with minimalistic gold and black sandals.

My favourite blogger, Aimee from songofstyle, and I!
Yesterday was a less hectic day. There was no rushing to and from shows which was a nice change from Day1 & 2. The first show of the day was Noon by Noor, you can read what Lauren thought of it here. I adored pretty much every look that came down the runway for that show. I also spotted Olivia Palermo and Coco Rocha sitting front row! The second show was Mara Hoffman, read what I thought here

Massive thanks to my friend Christina for taking today's photos! Check out her blog here.

Mara Hoffman AW15/16

Mara Hoffman AW15/16

Mara Hoffman AW15/16 by Siena O'Callaghan

Mara Hoffman’s fall collection gave off her usual boho chic feel mixed with a distinct 70’s vibe . The collection featured her typical heavy patterning but toned down a lot. I saw lots of rainbow striped cardigans, jumpsuits and fringed outfits paired with either menswear inspired brogues or over the knee suede boots.
The first thing I noticed as the models were walking down was their hair. Two thick braids over the top of a centre parted head, with two long hair braids falling down the back.
On the whole, the collection was fab and I could definitely see myself wearing pieces next fall!

Polyvore NYFW Day 2

Coat: Chloé | Jacket: Saint Laurent | Skirt: Alexander Wang | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff via therealreal
Sweater: Forever 21 | Boots: Zara | Sunglasses: Quay Australia

The first show of the day was Rebecca Minkoff - read about it here. This was my most anticipated show because she's one of my favourite designers; and obviously I LOVED the collection!
The second show I went to was the Charlotte Ronson presentation - read my thoughts here. Standing front row were EJ Johnson and Morgan Stewart from Rich Kids of Beverley Hills!
The day started off with all of us getting our hair blown out at DreamDry, which was thankfully just around the corner from our hotel. I definitely didn't want to stay outside for too long, it was freezing; I'm talking -11C°!

Location: Cynthia Rowley after party
Coat: Chloe | Jeans: J Brand | Scarf: Chanel | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff via therealreal
The final outing for the day was a Cynthia Rowley after party. The location was an amazing open space on Morton Street that was made to resemble a construction site. The 'door' was a clear tarp hanging from the ceiling and the coat check was on electric construction lift!

Super big thanks to one of my best friends Devi for taking the top outfit photos! Check out her blog here.

Rebecca Minkoff & Charlotte Ronson

Rebecca Minkoff AW15/16

The Rebecca Minkoff show was the one show that I REALLY wanted to go to, so when I found out I was going I was beyond excited. As I walked into the Lincoln Centre, I walked past the E! Entertainment booth whilst they were filming Fashion Police and saw Gigi Hadid!

I made my way to the show and sat second row behind a few bloggers, including Danielle Bernstein (weworewhat). The show started and the first thing I noticed was that every outfit incorporated fringe, whether it be boots, bags or coats. Knee high boots and head to toe knit were also very prominent, as well as cute matching skirt/coat ensembles with mini bags that had guitar straps as handles.
Overall I loved the show and I can’t wait to wear some of the collection next fall!

Charlotte Ronson AW15/16

Charlotte Ronson’s presentation was filled with mixed fabric outfits that had 60’s inspired sportswear vibes to them. Suede culottes, lace skirts and sheer florals all in dark, gloomy hues were ever so present in every look that came down the runway.
I for one am not keen for the culottes trend, but this collection has made my opinion on them a slightly more positive one.

After the show we headed to Soho to visit the NYC Polyvore offices! We hung around the office for a bit, charging our phones and having a little break. Then we went and did a little bit of shopping and had some lunch. We then headed to our second show of the day, Creatures of Comfort - you can read about that here.

Nicholas K AW15/16 & Creatures of Comfort AW15/16

Nicholas K AW15/16

Nicholas K AW15/16 by Siena O'Callaghan

Today was the first day of fashion week and the first show I attended was Nicholas K. Whilst waiting for the show to start I saw a few famous faces, including; Pete Wentz, George Kotsipoulos (from Fashion Police) and Kelly Cutrone!

The show was all about flowy, solid colour outfits, extremely low cut necklines and snoods. My favourite outfit from the whole show is the photo furthest to the right. I love the super draped cape and how it’s layered over some mid calf pants and paired for some cream pointed pumps.
All the models sported grey streaks in their hair, which gave them all an instant rocker chic vibe, whilst still looking fashionably feminine.

Backstage with George Kotsipoulos!

Creatures of Comfort AW15/16

The second show we attended was Creatures of Comfort. The venue was absolutely beautiful!
The show featured fab knit on knit outfits that had a few inspired elements from Stella McCartney AW14/15. Super oversized knitwear, paired with a matching skirt/pants and another knit tied around the waist to complete the look.
My favourite ensemble from the show is the middle photo. I’m all about comfort when it comes to outfits and that outfit looks so incredibly warm and comfortable.

At the show I spotted a couple of celebrities, including blogger Danielle Bernstein and Lily Rabe (from American Horror Story: Coven).

Dinner at ABC Kitchen

Yesterday was super fun and very eventful. I landed in New York at around midday and made my way to my hotel. Upon arriving I had two massive packages brought up to my room. Inside were the items I picked from therealreal, beautifully packaged in matte black boxes with big red ribbons. I also received a super cute Polyvore care package that has some fab things in it, including a Polyvore t-shirt and necklace.

At 5 I met Nadia and Lauren in the lobby and headed to dinner at ABC Kitchen with a couple of other Polyvore members and associates. Everyone was super nice and the food was amazing!

I can’t wait to share more OOTD’s and my NYC adventures with you guys, so stay tuned and don't forget to shop my look below! Xx
